BARONS.ARC Richard Wilkes ($10) Land of the Barons
Players command armies and try to
take over towns where they can
collect taxes and draft the
population to add to their armies.
Players may also fight monsters
or each other in attempts to steal
gold, weapons and armor. Game
requires ANSI support but color
is optional.
CASINO.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD The Mycroft Casino
Players start with $10,000 and
may play from a variety of gambling
games. These include BlackJack,
Draw Poker, High/Low, Baccarat,
and Keno. The game requires
ANSI support and color is user
selectable.
MARKET.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD The Fictitious Stock Exchange
Players buy and sell stocks in
this stock market simulation. The
game supports blue chip, preferred,
speculatives, bonds, and options.
OPINION.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD Opinion Poll
This door allows SysOps to run
opinion polls where their users
can vote on one or more issues.
Door is ANSI menu driven and
color is not required. Opinion
allows each user only one vote
per poll and generates bulletins
with bar chart graphics.
RPE.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD Remote Poll Editor
This door is the companion to
opinion poll. It allows a co-
SysOp or conference chairman
(under SysOp control) to view,
modify, and delete polls remotely.
Requires ANSI support without
color.
PHANT.ARC Ed Boston PD Phantasia
Multi-player D&D type game where
players gain levels and experience
by fighting monsters. Supports
multiple players simultaneously
with full player interaction.
Phant requires ANSI support but
does not use color.
RBE.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD Remote Bulletin Editor
This door is allows a Co-SysOp
or conference chairman, under
SysOp control, to view and modify
a specific BBS bulletin. Each
bulletin can be up to 30 lines
long. ANSI is required, but the
door does not use color.
SHERLOCK.ARC Mycroft RBBS PD The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Players explore Old London in a
race against time to solve the
case they are working on. SysOps
can write new cases using a
standard ASCII editor.
SQUEST.ARC Mycroft RBBS $70 Stellar Quest
This is the ultimate online space
game. Players explore a galaxy
of 10,000 sectors with over 100
solar systems and 450 planets.
Each planet has 10,000 locations
to explore and mine. Players
slowly build their ships and crews
up and may attack and interact
with aliens and other players.
The game is real-time, the user
interface is interactive ANSI
graphics. Color is optional.
